Pages About Puck

Pook's Hill: Puck
Wonderful material about Puck here, written and compiled by Allen W. Wright, who has a long personal relationship with this sprite and other trickster characters.

Pook's Hill: Puck Links
Links to all things Puck-related: electronic versions of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Shakespeare) and "Puck of Pook's Hill" (Kipling), comic book characters (DC's "Sandman" and Marvel Comics' "Alpha Flight"), and even a moon of Uranus (keeping company with Oberon, Titania, Ariel, and other satellites named for fairies).

The Realm of the Fae: Air Faeries
A wonderful site that groups faeries by element: Air, Earth, Water, or Fire. "Air" contains information on the Phooka, a version of Puck.

The Wake: Information about Neil Gaiman's Sandman
An excellent site about the "Sandman" comic books/graphic novels. Gaiman's story about Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream" (featuring a very tricky Puck) appeared in 1990, and was published in the 1991 "Dream Country" collection. Puck also plays an important role in "The Kindly Ones", the last installment of The Sandman.
